What Is Needed Before We Start
- Use of a Desktop/Laptop Computer with stable and reliable internet access. While these tasks can be completed on mobile devices (smartphones), this user guide and the administrator experience is best to be done on a Desktop/Laptop.
- Administrative credentials to logon to the WordPress dashboard of the website.

- Websites and their platforms change frequently, and visual updates are often released by developers to improve or enhance the user experience of premium plugins/extensions or software running on the website. Steps, including visual screenshots, may differ slightly based on the version of this documentation and the newer versions of a website.
- Logon to your WordPress website’s dashboard, commonly located at /wp-admin following your website’s domain name and select WPForms from the left-side menu bar.
- Notice all of your active forms, hover over the one you wish to check submissions for and select the ‘Entries’ text link to view submitted entries.
- A table will display with some applications. You can review high-level field information from this table.
NOTE: If an application submission was considered SPAM, it may not show in this view. You should routinely check the Spam category to review and make sure items are not missed.
- Actions available in this view are: View, Edit, Spam, and Trash.
a. View: Allows you to open the submission to see more details. You will also have additional actions, such as exporting the application, saving as PDF, etc.
b. Edit: Allows you to make changes to the submission.
c. Spam: Marks the submission as Spam and hides it from the main view. - Be sure to check the Spam section. Sometimes, the website may consider a submission to be Spam but it may be a legit submission. If a submission is listed as Spam, you will have the option to ‘Mark as Not Spam’ to return it to the main location.
a. Actions available in the ‘Spam’ category section include: View, Not Spam, and Trash.
While it will differ by website, it is important to check online submissions routinely. You may consider it necessary to view submissions multiple times per day, once daily, a couple times a week, or weekly.
